The local council, the foundation of grassroots democracy and the hall of public opinion has entered its ninth term since its inauguration in 1991. I extend my gratitude to all citizens who have supported and encouraged the development of our local council.

As the representative body of 520,000 Bupyeong-gu residents, the Bupyeong-gu Council will strive to fulfill its inherent duty of checks and balances and propose alternatives to the district administration.
We will work to be a council that empathizes, communicates, and earns trust, always standing with the citizens and earning their respect.
